Judge Kevin Wilson
The Collegedale Municipal Court exercises concurrent General Sessions Court criminal jurisdiction. That is, the court has the same authority as a state General Sessions Court and can hear cases involving state law violations as well as municipal ordinance violations.
The Judge is elected to an eight-year term. Judge Wilson has served as the judge for the Collegedale Municipal Court since August 1990. His current term ends in 2014.
Court is in session every Wednesday. On the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Wednesdays court starts at 8:30a.m. On the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays court starts at 5:00p.m. Court dates and times are assigned by the officer issuing the citation or by the Judge.
The Court Clerk’s office is responsible for the daily operation of the court. The Court Clerk’s office maintains all files and records of court proceedings.
