An individual may fill out an expungement order with the Court Clerk’s office in order to remove an arrest from their criminal history. Expungement orders are only available for cases that were dismissed or for a guilty plea with diversion. There is no cost if the case is dismissed, $100.00 if it is a guilty plea with diversion. The expungement order must be approved by the Judge. It will then be sent to the State of Tennessee in order to complete the process of expunging the record.
