Public Defender

In order to obtain court ordered representation of your court case, you must first appear in court and notify the Judge of your request for representation. The Judge will issue a form to complete after which he will make a determination as to whether the court will appoint an attorney to represent you or not. If an attorney is appointed they will make contact with you and discuss the case. The Judge may order that you pay a public defender fee or the fee may be waived at the discretion of the Judge.
