We will zealously guard and protect the rights and privileges bestowed by the constitution of the United States of America and the State of Tennessee.

Values:

Honesty and Integrity: displayed through devotion to duty and in daily interaction with others.
Community Support: by earning the respect, trust, and confidence in our ability to perform our duties in a firm, yet fair manner.
Compassion: held by the department members for victims of crime and the diverse needs of others in the community.
Understanding: that the Laws have a "spirit" as well as a "Letter" thus giving our officers latitude.
