Court Day Information
The City of Collegedale has court every Wednesday at 2 pm for incarcerated defendants and 3 pm for the general public. Due to COVID regulations set in place by the TN Supreme Court, only defendants are allowed in the courtroom during court. Family members will need to stay outside or in their vehicles.
The Collegedale Municipal Court follows social distancing practices also set forth by the TN Supreme Court. Chairs are spaced 3 feet apart per CDC guidelines. Masks are mandatory and temperature checks are done upon entry into the building on days we have court.
The Court Clerks Office will stop taking phone calls at 2 pm once court starts on Wednesdays. We also do not reschedule on the day of court. Any rescheduling requests need to be submitted no later than the Tuesday before your court date. Rescheduling will be at the discretion of the Court Clerk's Office.
NO PAYMENTS WILL BE TAKEN AFTER 2PM ON COURT DAY. IF YOU NEED TO MAKE A PAYMENT, YOU WILL NEED TO WAIT UNTIL YOUR NAME IS CALLED FOR COURT. LET THE JUDGE KNOW AT THAT TIME THAT YOU NEED TO PAY.
Any voicemails left after 2 pm on the day of court will be will be returned the following business day.
