City of Collegedale

The City of Collegedale is committed to streamlining the process for new development applications (including those needing rezonings or major subdivisions). Our updated process will match the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Regional Planning Agency's review timelines and improve our ability to respond to innovative and complex development approaches and techniques. 

All new development and major subdivisions (as defined in our subdivision ordinance) shall begin with a Pre-Submittal meeting that involves the Planning and Economic Development Director, City Planner, City Engineer, Building and Codes Director and the Tri-Community Fire Marshal.

To schedule your pre-submittal meeting, please call Britney Hutto at 423-468-1967 or e-mail her at bhutto@collegedaletn.gov. All meetings will be held virtually and on Wednesdays only. Please provide staff with preliminary or conceptual site plans, plat drafts and/or other related information at least 48 hours prior to your meeting. This allows us to briefly look over your proposal and to prepare initial comments and/or questions.
