Dumpster Rental
If residents have excess trash or brush that is above the monthly pickup limit, they are able to rent a dumpster. Dumpster rentals are for three days and cost $75 per rental. You are not to mix trash and brush, it is to be used for one or the other.  If you would like to rent a dumpster please contact Kristi Wheeler or call (423) 396-3135 ext. 11.
The Collegedale Police Department provides fingerprinting service for the public. There is no charge for Collegedale residents and a $10 per card fee for non-residents.  Fingerprinting services are available Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00am - 5:00pm; Wednesday from 8:00am - 12:00pm; and Friday from 8:00am - 12:00pm based on officer availability.

The Public Works Department offers year round free mulch to residents of Collegedale. If you would like to be put on the waiting list for mulch please contact Kristi Wheeler or call (423) 396-3135 ext. 11.

Notary Public
The city offers notary public services. A notary's main functions are to:
  • Administer oaths and affirmations
  • Perform certain other official acts depending on the jurisdiction
  • Prepare marine or ship's protests in cases of damage
  • Protest notes and bills of exchange
  • Provide notice of foreign drafts
  • Provide exemplifications and notarial copies
  • Take acknowledgments of deeds and other conveyances
  • Take affidavits and statutory declarations
  • Witness and authenticate the execution of certain classes of documents

You must sign the document in front of the notary. We can not notarize previously signed documents.  There is a $2.75 fee for notary services.
