About the Course

The City of Collegedale offers a defensive driving course called Alive at 25. This course is approximately four hours long and costs $65. This is a driver’s awareness course that is approved by the National Safety Council and is targeted for people under the age of 25.

The course is taught once a month at Collegedale City Hall, and payment must be received before being eligible to sign up. To sign up for a class, you can either come by City Hall or call the court clerk’s office to be scheduled. The $65 must be paid at the time of scheduling the course.

If you would like to try to take this course in lieu of paying a traffic citation, you must come to court on your court date to request it. The court will determine if you are eligible.
